The Five Flags Center has joined the Saffire team and we couldn’t be any more excited! We look forward to working with such an amazing venue!

The namesake, Five Flags Center, acclaims the “five national flags” that have flown over Dubuque since 1673. The five flags represented are: the Fleur de Lis of France, the Royal Flag of Spain, the Union Jack of England, the French Republic Flag of Napoleon, and America’s Stars and Stripes. There’s always a lot going on at Five Flags! From the best family programming, to exciting sports and the nation’s top touring performers, the Five Flags Center is the Tri-States home for quality entertainment.

Watching the sun set over 22,000 acres of scenic Lake Conroe. Sipping quality Texas wine beneath century old native pecan trees. Listening to true blue Texas country music harmonize with the wail of an approaching train in historic Downtown Conroe. With a diversity of attractions and convenient location along the I-45 corridor, Conroe is a favorite destination for family fun, travelling professionals, and romantic escapes. Conroe has that small town feel with big town appeal.

We’re ecstatic to have the La Habra Citrus Fair join the Saffire family! Just looking at some photos of the fair can make you feel like you’re at home.

The La Habra Area Chamber of Commerce began holding the La Habra Citrus Fair in 2010 to provide local entertainment and education about the history of La Habra, as well as to raise money for local non-profits. The Fair normally attracts 30,000 to 40,000 attendees over the weekend. The Youth Expo and Livestock Show has schools competing with livestock, horticulture and art programs.  Our students are responsible for their animals — purchasing, raising and competing for top honors during the Citrus Fair.

We are excited to have Gonzales Travel join the Saffire family! We are very much looking forward to working with the City of Gonzales to help showcase its amazing history!

Gonzales holds a unique place in Texas history as the site of the firing of the first shot for Texas independence. On October 2, 1835, eighteen townsmen stood on the bank of the Guadalupe River and refused to give up their small cannon to the Mexican Army. A flag was fashioned showing a black replica of the cannon on a white background with words that would echo through the years, “Come and Take it.” After the fall of the Alamo, General Sam Houston ordered the town of Gonzales burned. Later soldiers and townspeople returned to Gonzales to rebuild their town.

Hooray! We are so excited to have the Edison Festival of Light join the Saffire family!

The two-week celebration honors the Fort Myers winter resident, Thomas Alva Edison. There are many great events for all ages, including Day of Discovery, Mutt Strutt, Junior Fun Run, Junior Parade, Craft Show, 5K Race and the celebrated Grand Parade. The celebration honors innovation and strengthens community spirit and cultural history. All events are open to residents and visitors. Join us this year in commemorating the accomplishments of Thomas Edison through Southwest Florida’s finest family tradition.

We can’t wait to unveil the Edison Festival of Light’s new website! We’re sure it’ll be bright!

We are thrilled to have Visit Cleburne join the Saffire Family! This lively Texas town is an honor to be able to work with.

Cleburne’s rich historic past is celebrated with the Santa Fe railroad, the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum, and the Carnegie Library building. For outdoor activities enjoy the Cleburne State Park, 18-hole Cleburne Golf Links overlooking Lake Pat Cleburne, or just simply take a splash at the Splash Station Waterpark. Cleburne has all kinds of live entertainment that includes the Carnegie Players, Brazos Chamber Orchestra, Plaza Theatre Company, Songbird Live, and the Summer Concert Series with a variety of music.

We are overjoyed to be working with such a vibrant destination and can’t wait to roll out a great new web design!

We’re ecstatic to have Visit Joplin join the Saffire Family! Just looking at some photos of the city can make you feel like you’re at home!

Joplin is a city in southern Jasper County and northern Newton County in the southwestern corner of the US state of Missouri. Joplin is named for Reverend Harris Joplin, an early settler and the founder of the area’s first Methodist congregation. Joplin was established in 1873 and expanded significantly from the wealth created by the mining of zinc; its growth faltered after World War II when the price of the mineral collapsed. The city gained travelers as Route 66 passed through it; “Joplin, Missouri” is among the lyrics to Bobby Troup’s legendary song, immortalizing the city among others on the famous highway.

Hooray! We are so excited to have Pirate Fest join the Saffire Family!

Pirate Fest features fine arts and crafts for sale, three live music stages, a “grog garden,” pirate entertainers, a Parade of Pirates, a Children’s Pirate Costume Contest, a Pirate Encampment offering crafts, an inflatable pirate ship for children, and other activities. The Fossil Dig, free kayak rides, as well as a variety of food and entertainment from around the world at the International Ports O’ Call are more reasons to enjoy Uptown Greenville’s exciting festival.
